Links that make Google trust the page.

A backlink is another site pointing at yours, and Google reads it as a vote. The votes that count come from sites that are real, relevant and trusted themselves. A hundred links from sites nobody visits are worth nothing, or worse. We build the kind that hold up, point them at the pages that need them, and show you every one.

We will show you on the call who links to you now, and who links to the competitors above you.

What it is for

One good link beats a thousand cheap ones.

Search for "backlinks" and someone will sell you a thousand of them for less than dinner out. Those links come from sites built to sell links, and Google has spent years learning to ignore them — or to penalise the sites they point at. Cheap links are not a shortcut. They are a liability you pay for twice: once to buy them, and again to clean them up.

The links that work are the ones a real site gives because there is a reason to. A supplier listing its installers. A local association listing its members. A sponsorship of the youth league, credited properly. A news site citing a guide worth citing. A directory your industry actually uses. Slower to earn, and they hold.

Every link we build is reported by URL, so you can click it and see it. If an agency cannot show you the links, assume they are the cheap kind.

What we do

Where the links come from

Link building comes with the SEO channel. Local links and citations are also part of the Business Profile channel.

Local and industry

  • Associations, chambers and organisations you belong to
  • Suppliers and manufacturers that list their installers or dealers
  • Sponsorships and community work you already do, credited with a link
  • Directories your industry actually uses

Earned

  • Guides and pages worth citing, built so other sites do
  • Outreach to relevant sites with a real reason to link
  • Mentions of your business that never linked, turned into links

Citations and cleanup

  • Business listings built and kept consistent
  • Harmful links from past work found and dealt with
  • Links pointed at the pages that need them, not just the homepage

What we will not do

  • No link farms or private blog networks
  • No bulk packages of hundreds of links
  • No links from sites unrelated to your business or your area
  • No link we would not show you

How it runs

Links follow the content. A link to a page that does not deserve to rank is wasted.

  1. 01

    Audit your links

Who links to you now, who links to the competitors above you, and anything from past work that should not be there.

  2. 02

    Pick the pages

The pages closest to ranking for searches that turn into jobs. Those get links first.

  3. 03

    Build and earn

Local and industry links, citations, outreach and pages worth citing — every month, a few at a time.

  4. 04

    Report every link

Each link listed by URL in the monthly report, next to the rankings of the pages it points at.

Fit

Who it is for

Worth it when

  • You are running SEO and the pages are in place
  • Competitors with weaker sites outrank you
  • You belong to associations, buy from suppliers or sponsor things locally — most businesses do
  • You want links you could show anyone

Skip it when

  • You want links bought in bulk to move a ranking fast
  • The site has nothing worth linking to yet. Content comes first
  • You want links without the rest of SEO. On their own they rarely move anything
  • You need calls this month. Links are the slowest part of the slow half

Backlinks: questions people actually ask

How many links will we get a month?

As many good ones as can be earned, and we do not promise a number. A monthly link quota is how agencies end up buying the cheap kind to hit it.

Can’t we just buy links?

You can, and plenty of people will sell them to you. Google’s spam policies treat links bought to manipulate rankings as a violation, and the price of getting caught is the rankings you already had.

Will you show us the links?

Every one, by URL, in the monthly report. Click them.

Do links from small local sites matter?

Often more than a big site that has nothing to do with you. Relevance counts. A local association linking to its members is exactly the kind of link that should exist.

Are backlinks extra on top of SEO?

No. They are part of the SEO channel, and local links come with the Business Profile channel too.
