Service areas

One real page per place we serve.

Websites and managed channels for home-service and trades businesses, starting in the Knoxville metro. Each page below is written about that place — what is true there, which trades work there, how people there search, and what we would build for a business that works there.

Why one page per place

A list of forty towns in a footer is not a service-area page

Local search matches a search like "roof repair Maryville" to a page that is actually about roof repair in Maryville: one that says something true about the place, links to the services, and sits behind a Business Profile with Maryville set as an area served. A footer that lists every town in three counties is not that. Google reads it as a list, and so does the homeowner.

The other shortcut fails the same way. Eight pages that are one page with the town name swapped are duplicates to a search engine and a trick to a reader, and both notice. A service-area page has to argue from what is different about the place: the housing, who lives there, how they search, and which neighbouring towns a crew drives to.

These eight pages are the site practising what it sells. Read two of them and they should not sound alike.

Written as intent, not as a claim. When a market opens it gets its own pages here, built the same way.
